Quick answers.

Two reasons. First, you'd show up more than twice a month as a member — the math flips after visit #3. Second, ASCEND includes everything you'd otherwise pay for separately: unlimited classes, AM + PM hour access, the On-Demand HIIT library, and Trainerize programming. Drop-ins are priced per visit because you only get the one. At $9.99, ASCEND is cheaper than one drop-in class per week and you get the full coaching experience on top.
Yes — and better than you might expect. Trainerize programming adapts to whatever equipment you have (bodyweight-only at home, full gym near your office, or both). Each workout is structured, periodized, and tracks your progress automatically so you don't have to think about what to do next. Coach Mike reviews check-ins and adjusts programming based on what he's seeing. The gym is great for community and coaching cues; ASCEND is great for everything in between.
Real — not watered down. Sessions are built like the in-person HIIT House classes: structured warm-up, a timed main circuit with work:rest ratios built for adaptation, and a cooldown. Expect to sweat in 30–45 minutes. Programming rotates so you're not repeating the same block, and difficulty scales with where you're at: easier on off-days, harder on strength days. Every workout is written by Coach Mike — not a generic template library — and updated as the gym's programming evolves.
Cancel from the member dashboard in two clicks, or text STOP to (714) 477-7570 and we'll handle it. Monthly access runs through the end of the paid month — no prorated refunds, but no second charge either. There are no long-term contracts, no cancellation fees, and no "are you sure" screens. If you decide ASCEND isn't for you, you keep access to what you've already paid for and you don't get billed again.
None to start. Bodyweight-only is a complete program — most ASCEND members begin that way. When you're ready, the programming scales to whatever you add: dumbbells, kettlebells, a doorway pull-up bar, a bench, a jump rope, or a full commercial gym. Trainerize walks you through substitutions if something's missing. The point is to train where you are — not to buy gear first.
